Why this site focuses on Curaçao-licensed casinos
GamStop is the free self-exclusion scheme that every operator licensed by the UK Gambling Commission must integrate. Register with it and you are blocked from all UKGC-licensed sites for your chosen exclusion period — six months, one year or five years. The scheme covers Great Britain; the UKGC's remit does not extend to Northern Ireland's separate gambling law, though GamStop registration itself is open to residents across the UK.
Casinos that are not on GamStop are, by definition, not UKGC-licensed. They generally hold an overseas licence instead, and Curaçao is the most common.
